What the Studio is
GR81 IPTV Studio is a computer program for managing your own playlists (M3U lists and provider accounts): rename, sort, hide, mark for the family, check which channels work, and export the list for any player. The Studio contains no channels, films or series, and GR81 Tech sells no content.
What we keep on our server
- Your account: your email address, your name, and Personal or Business. For Business also your company name and phone number.
- A computer number: a scrambled number made from your computer's Windows ID. It lets us give one free week per computer and keep a licence on one computer at a time. It does not tell us who you are.
- Your licence: the edition, the end date and where it was bought.
- Your history: sign-ins, payments and licence changes.
- Your feedback: the topic, your message and the picture you add, if you send us feedback.
We use these only to run your account and licence, to answer you, and to improve the Studio. We do not sell them, and there is no advertising or tracking in the Studio.
What stays on your computer
- Your lists, your provider links and logins, your changes, your family marks and your server passwords stay on your computer only. Passwords are locked with Windows' own protection.
- Your lists are never sent to GR81 Tech.
Payments
Payments are made with PayPal. PayPal handles your card or account; we receive only the confirmation (amount, date, PayPal reference and the payer's email) to put the licence on your account.
Signing in with Google
- When you continue with Google, we receive only your email address, to make or open your account.
- When you save a list to Google Drive, the Studio asks Google for access only to the files the Studio itself makes. The files go straight from your computer to your Drive; they do not pass through GR81 Tech.
- The Studio's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- You can remove the Studio's access at any time in your Google account settings.
Who the Studio connects to
- Our server, to sign you in and check your licence (when the Studio starts and once a day).
- Your list's provider, to read your list and play its streams.
- Your own server, when you use Publish (Business).
- The TV-guide links you add.
- Home login: a small server on your own computer, for the players in your home.
- Only when you use the matching tool, these free public services: Wikidata (film and series information), iptv-org (channel logos) and OpenSubtitles.com (subtitles). They receive only what is needed for the search, for example a film's title, never your list or your logins.
- Links you click yourself, for example a trailer on YouTube, open in your own web browser, under that site's own policy.
Keeping and deleting
We keep your account while you have it. You can delete it at any time in My account, in the Studio, or by writing to us. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires.
Children
Accounts are for adults. The Studio helps parents mark and hide adult content; it does not knowingly collect information from children.
